Sean Gallagher wins the Peter Leech Memorial Cup for the 2 nd year!
Saturday saw a great turnout for the 4th year of the Peter Leech Cup. Some of Donegal's finest dart players showed up to try and win the popular competition. But for the 2 nd year in a row, Sean Gallagher from Bridgend, claimed the title. He had a fight all the way against Anthony Worskey, from Newton Cunningham, and both players threw some outstanding darts in the final. Sean took an early 4-0 lead, with a 13 dart finish, 2 17 darters and a 19 darter. Anthony fought back to 5 - 5 with top class darts. (15,16 and 18 darters). The final leg saw Sean throw 140, 140 and 138 to finish the game in 16 darts with Anthony just behind him on double top. (Semi final saw Anthony Worskey defeat Junior Coyle from Bridgend 5 -1 and Sean Gallagher defeat Charlie Grant from Quigleys point 5-3). Nations Cup 2011 The annual Six Nations Cup, featuring the national teams (men and women) of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland and The Netherlands, was played at the Erskine Bridge Hotel, Erskine, Renfrewshire on February 25th, 26th and 27th.

Fantastic darts thrown in a brilliant all Ireland final. Donegal were 5–1 and 6–3 down came back to win 7–6. Well done to Donegal! All Ireland Champions once again!! Donegal beat Dublin 7 - 1 in the semi's. They play Wexford in the final. Sunday: Donegal have beaten Galway 7 -1 in the quarter finals this morning. They will play the winners of Carlow v Dublin in the semi's Continues Tommorrow with the quarter finals. Donegal are playing very well. Purpetual Pairs Shield" 2010 Micheal and Paul beat Martin Mc Closkey and Sean Wilson 4 2 in the semi final with both sides playing fine darts!Playing 601 Martin and Sean checked out in 15 darts with Micheal and Paul replying with a 17 dart leg against the throw.Micheal and Paul also recorded two more 17 dart legs on their way to the final against Sean Gallagher and Gareth Mc Clean whom they over come 5 2 to win the shield. In association with Donegal County Darts Location Dusty,s Bar Milford Co Donegal Saturday saw a good turnout despite the bad weather . The winner was Paddy Boyce from Newton Cunningham.He defeated Martin McCloskey in the semi's, coming from 5-3 down to win 6-5. He beat Sean Gallagher from Newton Cunningham in the final, winning 7-5.
